Top 10 Rockabilly Shoes and Pumps for Women.
Ok Ladies, you know this site is run by a Male Photographer named Darkman, and a half way decent photographer should know a bit about makeup, hairstyling and wardrobe for his models, even if he’s a guy. Well while I was thinking about what to post, I was looking at shoes for a model I am going to be shooting, and thought I would post the top picks I would like to see a lady in.
So here are my top 10 picks for Rockabilly Shoes and Pumps for Women. These are shoes I would like to see on a model for a photoshoot or even just on the street. Classic, some with a modern twist, but sexy and stylish. These shoes accentuate a woman’s legs and help give a nice shape to the calf.
Most of the shoes shown are under $20, some are in the $30+ price range but for the most part most are pretty affordable.
Ladies we’d like to hear your favorite picks. Please feel free to comment below.
#1 Draven Women’s Riveting Pump
#2 Black & White Rockabilly Shoes Anklet Wrap Pumps

I’ve been in the rockin’ scene for ages with a killer rockabilly wardrobe and would not be caught dead in any of the above shoes. These are as rockabilly like flaming dice, eight balls and cherries are rockabilly (i.e., NOT). Go to the VLV car show and see these things on scary women in daisy dukes with horrible doo-rags on their heads. Go inside VLV hotel to the dance hall and see true rockabilly glam girls in vintage springolators, mules, wedges and pollys with nary a cherry in sight. If you can’t find vintage shoes then go for remix or betsy johnson polly remakes, not these horrid, one-step-away-from-the-stripper-pole shoes.
